About The Project:

Alternative Routes is an event designed to showcase the works of up and coming choreographers from the National Dance Company Wales, in collaboration with designers and composers from the RWCMD.

Sylvia worked with choreographer Kat Collings to create a composition to enhance Kat’s explorations of the movements and motions of one person in ‘Un.’

All that happens to us naturally

The composition utilised drum sticks to create a metronome-style beat, drum rhythms layered to give a contrast between a groove and irregularity, low bass sounds with synth midi notes hovering above, all separated with moments of silence.
