Giselle: The Original Collaboration
Exploring the origins of the ballet, Giselle, including the first choreographers; Jean Coralli (and Jules Perrot), the early ambitions of the composer; Adolphe Adam, and whether there was a collaborative relationship between the two (or three).

The Haunted Ballroom | In The Spotlight
Shining the spotlight on a charming one-act ballet titled The Haunted Ballroom from 1934. Sadly lost to time, this ballet is still very much jewel in the history of U.K. ballet productions and one that I very much hope will be re-staged so it can be enjoyed in all its glory once again.

My Favourite Poems
In celebration of World Poetry Day 2025, here are six of my favourite poems!

Coffee House | A Ballet by Henry Mancini
The one and only ballet composed by Henry Mancini for The Gene Kelly Show in 1959. Unique and contemporary, you can certainly hear the decade of the 60’s looming!

Conjuring Sonic Imagery
Is it possible to tell a story without words and without visuals, using nothing but music and sound?

Here, I investigate the two, bringing into question the authenticity of The Solfeggio Frequencies and sharing the origins and theory behind The Solfège System, aiming to illustrate that they aren’t related at all.
